Prepping for testing - Week 9

Continuing from last week, we started working on a potential test at Saxion with the students as the audience. Not exactly what we were planning on testing initially but we knew we wanted to have a lo-fi test to see how successful the play could be or what needed to be changed. I set out to create an environment for our Unreal project but also make some quick 3D sketches on how we envisioned the stage set up. This would be used to explain the concept during the midterm but also as the lo-fi environment for the test.
These 3D sketches showcase both the physical element of the stage and the digital projection of the stage.
I continued closely to the concept art of Niki and Nona as that was finished and played around with scale to give the impression of a much larger room continuing in the back.
We started prepping for the midterm presentation that was planned for week 10 on the 13th of November.
After the midterm Hester told us that we could have budget for the flight if the theatre could provide a budge. Plan to Oslo was back up so we swiftly tackled that, sending the needed information once again, including the documentation of the students travelling along and for what dates, and providing the theatre with accommodation options we found to be able to fit us for the dates of the 22nd to the 25th of November 2023.
